The shrine will be on display in the foyer of the concert hall "Crocus City Hall" at the gala evening "Mawlid al-Nabi", tickets for which have been already sold out.
The relic delivered in a special capsule, which is stored permanently. Further, to keep it safe the piece will be placed in a container made of transparent glass.
According to TASS, the relic will be exhibited as a museum exhibit, as it is not accepted worship.
Mawlid al-Nabi or birthday of the Prophet Muhammad is one of the most important Muslim holidays of the year. It’s celebrated on the 12th day of the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar. This year's festival took place on 2-3 January. During the holiday prayers and read the hadiths (sayings and stories about the life of Muhammad), invite and entertain guests, give alms to the poor.
