The prestigious competitions in this version, according to the Centre for the Development of Martial Arts of Uzbekistan dated on April 20, 2015, held once every two years. This year, it was held the third world championship, which was attended by representatives from more than 40 countries.
The winners of the championship of Uzbekistan participated in the tournament, which took place in March. World Championship gold medals won two athletes: in the weight category up to 55 kg the winner was Shakhboz Tursunov, in the weight category up to 80 kg - double world champion Odil Sirojiddinov. All four fights Odile won by knockout, setting in one of them a unique record of the championship – he won the opponent in just 37 seconds.
World Championship silver medalist became a multiple winner of several international tournaments Abduzhalol Hodzhimuradov (-85 kg).
The bronze medal won Musa Mametov (-60 kg). He has on his account the "bronze" of the Open European Championship in the Czech Republic.
The fifth in the medal award collection Uzbekistan national team brought Bobur Rakhmatov (-75 kg). He became a two-time bronze medalist of the world.
