CEC recognized the presidential elections in Uzbekistan valid

Islam Karimov is considered to be elected to the office of the President of Uzbekistan.

Presidential elections in the country were held on March 29, 2015. The turnout was 91.01%: from 20.798 million voters of the republic 18,942 million people participated in the voting.

According to the CEC, 90.39% of voters voted for Islam Karimov. In the second place there is the candidate of the party "Milli Tiklanish" Akmal Saidov with 3.08% of the voters, in the third place – the candidate from the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Hatamzhon Ketmonov (2.92%), in the fourth - the representative of the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" Narimon Umarov (2.05%).
