Museum in Nukus ranked among the most extraordinary places to visit

According to the Telegraph, the city is in the north of Uzbekistan. Tourists rarely visit it because of the shabby appearance. But those who overcome dozens of kilometers of sandy valleys can see the true gem of Nukus - Museum of Fine Arts named after I. V. Savitsky. It is also known as the Museum of Forbidden Art. Savitsky collected works of prohibited masters of the 20th century, which later was called avant-garde.

According to experts and the world press, this collection, which is the best art collections in the Asian region, has the world's second-largest and volume collection of Russian avant-garde.
